YaCy is a decentralized search engine powered by a peer-to-peer engine.
When contributing to the world-wide peer network, the scale of YaCy is limited only by the number of users in the world and can index billions of web pages.
Unlike Google etc. there is no central search location and so there isn't likely to be any censorship or compliance with state orders to filter results.
