Internet Connectivity Monitor is a tool that will periodically check your Internet connection and log results.

It will check any remote host that you wish (Google etc.) and will log at set intervals whether or not the connection was active. This way you can monitor how often your Internet connection is unusable.

This could be particularly useful if you need to complain to your ISP about the level of service you are receiving.
