Symantec provides this free removal tool to clean infections of W32.Opasa@mm from Windows computers. The removal tool, once run, will terminate any W32.Opasa@mm processes that it finds, delete associated files and delete any associated registry values added by the worm.
This tool can be run in Windows as normal but it is recommended that you execute it in Safe Mode. If running Windows XP, then System Restore should also be disabled before running the tool.
You will need to have administrative rights to run this tool on Windows 2000 or Windows XP.
