Avast Decryption Tool for NoobCrypt v1.0.29.0

Avast Decryption Tool for NoobCrypt can decrypt files that have been encrypted by the NoobCrypt ransomware.

NoobCrypt has been observed in the wild since July 2016, and uses AES-256 encryption method to encrypt a users personal files until they pay a ransom.

Unlike a lot of ransomware varieties, NoobCrypt does not change the filenames or extensions of encrypted files, they just don't work with applications anymore because the applications can't interpret the encrypted data.

This tool is provided for free by the good folks over at Avast!. It will guide you through the process of scanning for and decrypting files without having to pay any ransom.
