Open Hardware Monitor provides hardware information including temperatures, fan speeds, voltages, and more.
It supports most hardware monitoring chips found on motherboards today. The CPU temperature monitor works by reading the core temperature sensors of processors made by AMD and Intel.
The monitored values can be displayed in the main window and there is also a Desktop gadget available to use.
